In this course you will learn: 

• Introduction to control engineering and block diagram representation.

• System modelling, test signals, and analysis of first order systems or PT1 elements.

• Laplace transformation, transfer functions, and basic understanding of poles and zeros of transmission elements.

• Analysis of oscillatory systems or PT2 elements, and examination of PT1 elements connected in series (PTn behaviour).

• Static characteristic curves.

• Block diagram algebra.
